How to use ShowFixed

Give us a page URL and one sentence about the task. ShowFixed records a short, narrated demo — a moving cursor, a spotlight on the element, subtitles and a voice-over — so you can show the fix instead of describing it. Here's the full walkthrough, start to finish.

Open your dashboard / sign in

Head to your dashboard and sign in. New here? Create an account in under a minute — no credit card needed to make your first clip. Once you're in, click New demo to start a fresh recording.

Enter the page URL

Paste the full URL of the page you want to show — your live site, a staging link, or a preview deploy. For example: https://app.yoursite.com/checkout. ShowFixed loads that exact page so the demo reflects what your users actually see.

Describe the task — the issue & the fix

Write one plain sentence covering what was broken and what's now fixed. Be concrete, for example:

"The 'Add to cart' button did nothing on mobile — now it adds the item and opens the cart drawer."

That single line drives the cursor path, the spotlight, and the voice-over script.

Pick length + voice and click Generate

Choose a clip length between ~10 and 25 seconds, pick a voice for the narration, then hit Generate. Rendering usually takes about 2–4 minutes — the clip is produced by the ShowFixed engine, so you can close the tab and come back to it.

Review: Approve ✓ or revise

Watch the result. If it nails it, click Approve ✓ and share the link. If not, type a revision — for example "shorter; highlight the hero" — and re-render. Iterate until it's exactly right.

Share it anywhere

Drop the link in a pull request, a Slack thread, a changelog, or an email to a customer. Anyone can press play — no install, no account required to watch.

Tip: the more specific your task sentence, the sharper the demo. Name the exact element ("the blue Save button in the top-right") and the outcome ("the toast now says 'Saved'") so the cursor and spotlight land precisely where they should.
